On Wednesday, August 7, at 6:30 p.m., the Massillon Genealogical Society will present “Share and Tell,” a special meeting held once a year to give genealogy researchers a chance to share helpful tips.
Have you hit the proverbial brick wall in your genealogy research? Has an ancestor or two eluded you, having hidden from the census taker or town clerk? This Share and Tell session, designed to give you a leg up, allows you to learn from the experience and findings of others. Borrowing from their tried-and-true strategies, you can take a fresh look at your elusive ancestors from a new and different angle. Members of the Massillon Genealogy Society
and other seasoned genealogists will be present to share their successful techniques, helping you solve your problem searches.
The public is invited to attend this free program held at the Lillian Beane Center, 1711-16th Street SE, in Massillon. No registration is required.
